i just watched the documentary “Katie: My beautiful face”. i highly recommend it.
katie piper was attacked on the street in broad daylight by a man who threw a cup full of sulphuric(?) acid onto her face. as a result her whole face was basically taken off and had to be recreated using skin grafts.
